Commissioned by Arts Council England, Home Slough & Resource Productions. Produced by Omart Creations. Set in the rustic backdrop of Kerala, India, the film narrates the story of a differently-abled young man who embarks on a journey against odds to surprise his newly wed. The film portrays the obstacles faced by a disabled person in a country, insensitive towards their needs. Filmed using Neo-Realistic conventions, the film aims to depict reality through characteristics such as filming on-location and the casting of a disabled non-actor for the lead role. - Screened across UK & India as part of Disability Awareness.
